Refund Policy

Tax Planning Refunds

If TaxVet makes an error on your tax return, we will fully reimburse you for any resulting penalties and interest.

To qualify for the TaxVet's 100% Accuracy Guarantee, the error must not be due to incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent information supplied by you, positions taken by you that may be unsubstantiated or incorrect, your choice not to claim a deduction or credit, conflicting tax laws, or changes in tax laws after October 15, 2025.

100% Satisfaction Guarantee

I am so certain you’ll be satisfied with the tax preparation services at my office, you only pay us if you accept your return.**

**By authorizing TaxVet to assist in filing your tax return or by taking the completed return to file, you are accepting the return and are obligated to pay all fees when due.

Tax Audit Refund Policy

Unfortunately, there will be no refund policy for Tax Audit Representation UNLESS my express representation has been shown and proven to further negatively compromise your pre-existing tax conflict

For example: IRS conducts routine audit on your small business in which you have satisfied all tax compliance beforehand. My representation in front of any IRS officer levies additional audit surveillance for the same case, penalties, and/or interest due to my potential incompetence.

The research, time commitment, and liability required to represent an individual in an IRS Audit are extensive and are subject to the posted rate in our services and fees.


Appointment Refund Policy

The appointment fee, including the initial retainer deposit, will only be fully refunded if you qualify for the following:

- You suffer an emergency health episode (e.g. ER Visit, Pregnancy)
- You will be deployed on Official US Military Orders for the selected time
- You win a settlement via private settlement or arbitration against TaxVet
- You are involved in a settled Class Action lawsuit against TaxVet

Please send (1) piece of evidence of qualifying event alongside the receipt of payment for the appointment to TaxesWithThien@gmail.com and remove all privacy sensitive and confidential data from the submission.

I understand that life will throw unexpected curveballs and we may not be able to attend all of our planned obligations. However, a no-show/last-minute cancellation is a family that I am not able to assist for that time slot.

You may avoid the additional labor of applying for refund by rescheduling appointments beforehand at no additional cost as necessary.


ProjectionLab Subscription Refund

Unfortunately, there are no refunds for your ProjectionLab Subscription.

You may email me at any time to cancel your subscription as needed.

Portfolio Build Refund

Refunds for your Portfolio Build will only be granted if you qualify for the following:

- my proposed portfolio is not appropriate corresponding your risk tolerance, budget commitment, and Environmental, Governance, and Social (ESG) concerns. 
- I fail to deliver an appropriate portfolio after payment for the third time

I, Thien Nguyen, am the sole employee of TaxVet. Please allow up to (30) days for me to process and issue refunds after evidence of qualification.
